AMERICA’S GREAT LOOP.

 

Starting from Bay City, MI  we head from Saginaw Bay, thru Lake Huron to Lake Michigan towards Chicago where the lake meets the Illinois river. The Illinois then feeds us onto the Mississippi river, where you can then go one of two ways.

 

The Tenn-Tom Waterway is the preferred route, opposed to taking the Mississippi River all the way to the gulf. Tenn-Tom has less commercial traffic, more marinas, anchorages, places for fuel, showers and food, which caters to people that are boating the great loop – AKA “Loopers”
